The Kaiser Permanente Community Benefit department and Community Health
Partnership invite interested community and public health center providers to a FREE Diabetes
workshop (Module 1):
- Learn the diabetes management therapies
- Increase your diabetes patient care and education skills
- Communicate the latest advances in pharmacology and diet recommendations to your patients
Participants receive 6.5 contact hours for nurses, 7 for registered
dieticians, and 6.5 for certified case managers. The target audience
for Module 1 of the Diabetes training is intended for Health Educators,
RN's, RD's, RPH's, and PharmD's working with adult clients. Please
note that unless you are already a Certified Diabetes Educator,
attending the Diabetes Update class (Module 1) is a prerequisite
for the Diabetes Clinical and Medication Management Workshop (Module
2).
Please note that this is the first segment of a 2-part training,
however you may take Module 1 alone.
