The Kaiser Permanente Community Benefit department and Community Health Partnership invite interested community and public health center providers to a FREE Diabetes workshop (Module 1):

  • Learn the diabetes management therapies
  • Increase your diabetes patient care and education skills
  • Communicate the latest advances in pharmacology and diet recommendations to your patients

Participants receive 6.5 contact hours for nurses, 7 for registered dieticians, and 6.5 for certified case managers. The target audience for Module 1 of the Diabetes training is intended for Health Educators, RN's, RD's, RPH's, and PharmD's working with adult clients. Please note that unless you are already a Certified Diabetes Educator, attending the Diabetes Update class (Module 1) is a prerequisite for the Diabetes Clinical and Medication Management Workshop (Module 2).

Please note that this is the first segment of a 2-part training, however you may take Module 1 alone.

For more information or to register on-line, go to KP Diabetes Update Training. Please contact Capri Casteele at Capri.Casteele@kp.org for any questions regarding registration or logistics.
