SNI will be serving as the Local Extension Center (LEC) for CAPH members. Our LEC is called the Information Technology Adoption Center (ITAC) for California Public Hospital Systems. ITAC will provide direct technical assistance to our members in adopting, implementing or upgrading their EHRs in ambulatory care. Services provided may include clinical workflow redesign, consulting services, project management and training and education. All services will be provided at no cost to our members. Seraphin Nicholson is meeting with member hospitals on an individual basis to determine needs and timelines. She will be reaching out via email or phone. In addition, there will be two upcoming convenings to provide more detailed information to the CAPH membership about this ITAC program. One will take place in Northern California and the other in Southern California.

We encourage members to send their CIOs, CMIOs, CFOs, Ambulatory Care Medical Directors and Administrators, Ambulatory Care Physician and Nurse Leaders, Pharmacy and Laboratory Directors and anyone who may be impacted by the adoption of EHRs in the outpatient setting. Travel costs will be reimbursed.
